Adhyaya 45 — Jaimini’s Cosmological Questions and the Opening of Markandeya’s Account of Primary Creation
आपश्चापि विकुर्वत्यो गन्धमात्रं ससर्जिरे ।
सङ्घातो जायते तस्मात्तस्य गन्धो गुणो मतः ॥
āpaścāpi vikurvatyo gandhamātraṃ sasarjire / saṅghāto jāyate tasmāttasya gandho guṇo mataḥ
Воды также, претерпевая превращение, породили тонкий элемент (танматру) запаха. Из него возникает составное (грубое) начало; потому запах считается его качеством.
