सीधुपानेन चाल्पेन तुष्ट्याथ मदनेन च | विलासनैश्व विविधै: प्रेक्षणीयतराभवत्,वह अल्प सुरापानसे, संतोषसे, कामसे और नाना प्रकारकी विलासिताओंसे युक्त होनेके कारण अत्यन्त दर्शनीय हो रही थी
sīdhupānena cālpena tuṣṭyātha madanena ca | vilāsanaiś ca vividhaiḥ prekṣaṇīyatarābhavat ||
Вайшампаяна сказал: Отпив лишь немного сладкого хмельного напитка, в довольстве, с пробуждением желания и среди разнообразных игривых забав, она стала ещё более пленительной для взора. Стих показывает, как наслаждение и потворство чувствам усиливают внешнее очарование, но вместе с тем намекает на нравственно двусмысленную притягательность опьянения и страсти в данном повествовательном контексте.
