इदं तृतीयं भ्रातृणामर्थ यत्‌ स्थातुमिच्छसि । विशुद्धोईसि महाभाग सुखी विगतकल्मष:

Transliteration

idaṁ tṛtīyaṁ bhrātṝṇām artha yat sthātum icchasi | viśuddho 'si mahābhāga sukhī vigata-kalmaṣaḥ ||

Translation

Вайшампаяна сказал: «Это — третье испытание, касающееся блага твоих братьев. Поскольку ты пожелал остаться (даже в аду) ради них, пренебрегая собственным покоем, о весьма счастливый, ты тем самым доказал свою чистоту. На тебе нет и тени греха; потому будь спокоен и вкушай счастье».
