cikitsakasya yac cānnam abhojyaṃ rakṣiṇas tathā |

Вьяса говорит, что в контексте дхармы и чистоты поведения пища некоторых людей непригодна для вкушения. Здесь он относит к тому же разряду и пищу врача, и, равно, пищу стража/караульного — как часть более широкого нравственного наставления о том, какие способы заработка и какие связи считаются духовно компрометирующими для того, кто стремится к дисциплинированной, жертвенной и праведной жизни.
