Śuka’s Guṇa-Transcendence and Vyāsa’s Consolation (शुकगति-वर्णनम्)

तदर्थवदिदं वाक्यमुपेतं वाक्यसम्पदा । अविक्षिप्तमना राजजन्नेकाग्र: श्रोतुमहसि,अतः: राजन्‌! आप स्थिरचित्त एवं एकाग्र होकर यह वाक्यसम्पत्तिसे युक्त सार्थक वचन सुनिये

tadarthavad idaṃ vākyam upetaṃ vākyasampadā | avikṣiptamanā rājann ekāgraḥ śrotum arhasi ||

Бхишма сказал: «О царь, эти слова исполнены смысла и наделены достоинством тщательно избранной речи. Потому, с умом нерассеянным и вниманием, собранным в одну точку, тебе следует их выслушать».
