Bali–Vāsava Dialogue on Kāla and Steadfastness
अभयं यस्य भूतेभ्य: सर्वेषामभयं यत: । नमस्य: सर्वभूतानां दान्तो भवति बुद्धिमान्
abhayaṁ yasya bhūtebhyaḥ sarveṣām abhayaṁ yataḥ | namasyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ dānto bhavati buddhimān ||
Бхишма сказал: мудрый и обуздавший себя человек, который не страшится всех существ — и от которого, в свою очередь, все существа становятся свободны от страха, — становится достойным почитания для всякого живого. Он воплощает дхарму не силой, а тем, что делает мир вокруг себя безопасным.
