कार्यार्थ भोजनार्थेषु व्रतेषु कृतवान् श्रमम् । यदि विप्रत्ययो होष तदिदं दर्शयाम ते
kāryārtha-bhojanārtheṣu vrateṣu kṛtavān śramam | yadi vipratyayo hoṣa tad idaṃ darśayāma te ||
Бхишма сказал: «Он трудился, соблюдая обеты, лишь ради выгоды в делах и чтобы набить себе брюхо. Если ты всё ещё сомневаешься, смотри: сейчас же мы докажем это, принеся мясо из его собственного дома.»
