Vasiṣṭhāpavāha: Sarasvatī’s Diversion and Viśvāmitra’s Curse (वसिष्ठापवाहः)
ददौ कामान् ब्राह्मुणेभ्यो यान् यान् यो मनसेच्छति । शक्तिशाली राजा ययाति जब वहाँ यज्ञ कर रहे थे
dadau kāmān brāhmaṇebhyo yān yān yo manasecchati |
Вайшампаяна сказал: Учитывая необычайную щедрость царя Яяти, когда он совершал жертвоприношение, и видя его неизменную преданность, Сарасвати даровала брахманам, пришедшим на тот обряд, все наслаждения, какие каждый желал в сердце своём, — исполнив все вожделенные дары.
