Adhyāya 14: Śalya’s Missile-Pressure and the Pāṇḍava Convergence (शल्यस्य शरवर्षम्)
इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत शल्यपर्वमें शल्यका युद्धविषयक तेरहवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
sañjaya uvāca | cakrāṇāṃ patatāṃ cāpi yugānāṃ ca dharātale samadṛśyanta pārthasya rathamārgeṣu bhārata |
Санджая сказал: О Бхарата, вдоль колеи колесницы Партхи на земле виднелись павшие колёса и ярма. Поле брани, взрыхлённое натиском Арджуны, показывало груды разбитой колесничной упряжи и отсечённые останки воинов — образ, подчёркивающий, как стремительно воинская мощь обращает гордость и владение в погибель и как порыв войны оставляет зримый след утраты.
