दूसरेकी बायीं भुजा क्षुरोंद्वारा कवचके साथ कटकर भूमिपर गिर गयी। इस प्रकार किरीटधारी अर्जुनने शत्रुपक्षके सभी मुख्य-मुख्य योद्धाओंका संहार कर डाला ।।
tasya vāma-bāhur dvitīyasya kṣurāntena kavacena saha chinnaḥ pṛthivyāṃ nipapāta | evaṃ kirīṭī arjunaḥ śatru-pakṣasya sarvān pradhāna-pradhānān yodhān saṃjaghāna || śaraiḥ śarīrānta-karaiḥ su-ghorair dauryodhanaṃ sainyam aśeṣam eva | vaikartanenāpi tathā yuddha-madhye sahasraśo bāṇa-gaṇā visṛṣṭāḥ ||
