अद्य कृष्ण विकर्णा मे कर्ण नेष्यन्ति मृत्यवे । गाण्डीवमुक्ता: क्षिण्वन्तो मम हस्तप्रचोदिता:,“श्रीकृष्ण! आज मेरे हाथसे प्रेरित और गाण्डीव-धनुषसे मुक्त हुए विकर्ण नामक बाण कर्णको क्षत-विक्षत करते हुए उसे यमलोक पहुँचा देंगे
sañjaya uvāca |
adya kṛṣṇa vikarṇā me karṇa neṣyanti mṛtyave |
gāṇḍīvamuktāḥ kṣiṇvanto mama hastapracoditāḥ ||
Санджая сказал: «О Кришна, сегодня стрелы “Викарна”, выпущенные из Гандивы и направляемые моей рукой, изранят и изорвут Карну и отправят его к Смерти — в мир Ямы.»
