Санджая сказал: «О могучий владыка! Разъярённые воины Пандавов, укрытые твоей защитой, разорвали и перебили войско Кауравов, что вздымалось, как океан, и было заволочено пылью.»

The verse highlights the ethical tension between human effort and protective guidance: even fierce martial prowess (the enraged Pāṇḍavas) is portrayed as effective because of a higher protection (“shielded by you”), suggesting that victory in war is not merely brute force but also depends on rightful support, strategy, and providential safeguarding.
Sañjaya reports to the king that the Pāṇḍava fighters, fighting in wrath yet under the protection of the addressed lord, have shattered the Kaurava army, which is depicted as vast and surging like the sea and obscured by the dust of battle.
