कर्णनिधनवृत्तान्तनिवेदनम् | Reporting Karṇa’s Fall to Yudhiṣṭhira
स गुरु पार्थ कस्मात् त्वं हन्तुकामोडभिधावसि । असम्प्रधार्य धर्माणां गतिं सूक्ष्मां दुरत्ययाम्
sa guruḥ pārtha kasmāt tvaṃ hantukāmo 'bhidhāvasi | asampradhārya dharmāṇāṃ gatiṃ sūkṣmāṃ duratyayām ||
Шри Кришна сказал: «О Партха, он — твой почитаемый старший и учитель; почему же ты бросаешься вперёд с намерением убить его, не поразмыслив прежде о тонком и труднопроходимом пути дхармы? В такой миг поступок следует взвесить мерой долга, благодарности и скрытых последствий, что неизбежно следуют за нарушением нравственного порядка».
