Adhyāya 41 — Kṛṣṇa’s Battlefield Briefing and the Renewal of the Great Engagement
वैवस्वताद् दण्डहस्ताद्वरुणाद् वापि पाशिन: । सगदाद् वा धनपते: सवज़ाद् वापि वासवात्
vaivasvatād daṇḍahastād varuṇād vāpi pāśinaḥ | sagadād vā dhanapateḥ savajrād vāpi vāsavāt, saha yuddha hi me tābhyāṃ sāmparāye bhaviṣyati |
Санджая сказал: «Я не боюсь Ямы, сына Вивасвата, с жезлом в руке; не боюсь Варуны с его арканом; не боюсь Куберы, владыки богатств, с булавой; не боюсь Васавы (Индры) с его ваджрой — и никакого иного яростного врага. Знай это твёрдо: потому не страшны мне и Арджуна, и Шри Кришна. В решающем исходе битвы моя схватка с ними двумя непременно состоится».
