Bhīṣma-nipāta-saṃvāda — Sañjaya’s Report of Bhīṣma’s Fall (भीष्मनिपातसंवादः)
पितरं भीमकर्माणं भीष्ममाहवशोभिनम् । आर्ति मे हृदये रूढां महतीं पुत्रहानिजाम्
pitaraṃ bhīmakarmāṇaṃ bhīṣmam āhavśobhinam | ārti me hṛdaye rūḍhāṃ mahatīṃ putrahānijām ||
Дхритараштра сказал: «Моё сердце отягощено великой мукой, рождённой гибелью моих сыновей. Я думаю о Бхишме — моём почтенном старшем, человеке грозных деяний в битве, сияющем на поле брани.»
