दारयन्निव पद्धयां स जगतीं जगदी श्वर: । क्रोधताम्रेक्षण: कृष्णो जिघांसुरमितद्युति:
sañjaya uvāca | dārayann iva padhyāṃ sa jagatīṃ jagadīśvaraḥ | krodhatāmrekṣaṇaḥ kṛṣṇo jighāṃsur amitadyutiḥ ||
Санджая сказал: Кришна, Владыка вселенной, сияющий неизмеримым блеском, с глазами, покрасневшими от гнева, двинулся вперёд с намерением убить Бхишму — так мощно, что земля, казалось, раскалывалась под грохотом его шагов.
