Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
सेन्द्रेषु चैव लोकेषु प्रतिष्ठां विन्दते शुभाम् इह लोके यश: प्राप्प शान्तपाप्मा च मोदते
sendreṣu caiva lokeṣu pratiṣṭhāṁ vindate śubhām | iha loke yaśaḥ prāpya śāntapāpmā ca modate ||
Васиштха сказал: «В мирах, которыми правят Индра и прочие хранители, он обретает благой статус и почёт. И здесь, в этом мире, стяжав добрую славу, он живёт радостно — грехи его умиротворены, а совесть спокойна».
