अन्ने दत्ते नरेणेह प्राणा दत्ता भवन्त्युत

Transliteration

anne datte nareṇeha prāṇā dattā bhavanty uta |

Translation

Бхишма сказал: «В этом мире, когда человек дает пищу, это словно он дарует саму жизнь; ибо нет дара выше дара жизни. О могучерукий, ты, несомненно, слышал об этом и изречение мудреца Ломаши.»
