Nṛga-upākhyāna: Brāhmaṇa-sva and the Consequence of Misappropriated Gift-Cattle (कृकलास-रूपे नृगोपाख्यानम्)

तिलहोमरता विदप्रा: सर्वे संयतमै थुना: । समा गव्येन हविषा प्रवृत्तिषु च संस्थिता:

Бхишма сказал: Все те брахманы, сведущие в Ведах и обуздавшие себя, постоянно совершали возлияние в огонь с кунжутом (тила-хома), держась вдали от плотского соития. Кунжут признается пригодным для хависа, подобно коровьему гхи; потому его принимают в жертвенных обрядах и он требуется во многих ритуальных деяниях.
