गंगायमुनयोवेंगं सुभीम॑ं भीमनि:स्वनम्‌ | प्रतिजग्राह शिरसा वातवेगसमं जवे

Transliteration

gaṅgāyamunayor vegaṃ subhīmaṃ bhīmaniḥsvanam | pratijagrāha śirasā vātavegasamaṃ jave ||

Translation

Бхишма сказал: «Поток Ганги и Ямуны был поистине ужасен, ревел грозным гулом. Хотя его натиск был стремителен и нестерпим, как сила ветра, мудрец принял удар на свою голову и вынес его».
