Devaśarmā–Vipula Dialogue on Ahorātra–Ṛtu as Moral Witnesses (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय ४३)
“विपुल गुरुपत्नीके शरीरको स्तम्भित करके उसकी रक्षामें संलग्न हो वहीं निवास करने लगे। परंतु रुचिको अपने शरीरमें उनके आनेका पता न चला ।।
yaṃ kālaṃ nāgato rājan gurus tasya mahātmanaḥ | kratuṃ samāpya svagṛhaṃ taṃ kālaṃ so ’bhyarakṣata ||
Бхишма сказал: «О царь, пока благородный учитель Випулы не вернулся в свой дом, завершив жертвенный обряд, всё это время Випула так же бдительно оставался там, охраняя жену своего гуру».
