Devaśarmā–Vipula Dialogue on Ahorātra–Ṛtu as Moral Witnesses (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय ४३)
भीष्म उवाच इत्युक्तो विपुलस्तेन तपस्वी नियतेन्द्रिय:
bhīṣma uvāca | ity ukto vipulas tena tapasvī niyatendriyaḥ |
Бхишма сказал: Так обращённый к нему, Випула — подвижник, обуздавший чувства, — принял наставление и ответил: «Да будет так». Сияя, как огонь и солнце, стойкий в суровой аскезе, преданный дхарме и истине, он согласился исполнить повеление учителя. Затем, когда наставник уже собирался уйти, Випула вновь спросил его следующим образом.
