On Those Worthy of Honor and Salutation
इति श्रीमहाभारते अनुशासनपर्वणि दानधर्मपर्वणि इन्द्रमतड्रसंवादे एकोनत्रिंशो5ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi dānadharmaparvaṇi indramataḍrasaṃvāde ekonatriṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ
Так, в священной «Махабхарате», в «Анушасана-парве» — в особенности в разделе о дхарме дарения — завершается беседа Индры и Матадрасы, и тем самым оканчивается двадцать девятая глава. Этот колофон знаменует переход: наставление о милостыне и праведном поведении обрамлено поучительным обменом речей Индры, подчёркивая, что дана (щедрость) должна пониматься как дисциплинированный нравственный долг внутри дхармы.
