The verse emphasizes the purificatory and merit-producing power of tīrtha-bathing: sincere immersion at specific sacred sites is presented as a swift means to spiritual ‘siddhi’ (accomplishment), reinforcing the dharmic ideal that disciplined pilgrimage and ritual purity support inner transformation.
A speaker named Ajadriya is listing the fruits of visiting particular holy places. Here he names Maṭadvāpī and the tīrtha called Ānālamba (also referred to as Andhaka and Sanātana), stating that bathing/immersion there yields rapid spiritual benefit.
