Transliteration

maholkeva ca bhīṣmasya mūrdhadeśāj janādhipa

Translation

Вайшампаяна сказал: О царь, из области головы Бхишмы явилось нечто, подобное великому пылающему факелу — сияющий и зловещий знак, отмечавший тяжесть мгновения и необычайное состояние праотца, лежавшего на ложе из стрел.
