हेतूनामन्तमासाद्य विपुलं ज्ञानमुत्तमम्‌

Transliteration

hetūnām antam āsādya vipulaṁ jñānam uttamam |

Translation

Бхишма сказал: «Когда иссякают одни лишь доводы и прения, обретается обширное и высшее знание. Только оно — наивысший свет для всего мира. О царь, то, что рождается из голой логики, не есть подлинное знание и не должно считаться авторитетным; следует отвергнуть всякое “знание”, не утверждённое Ведой».
