स ता: पिबन् क्षीरमिव नातृप्पत महामना: । अपूरयन्महौघेन महीं सर्वा च पार्थिव
sa tāḥ piban kṣīram iva nātṛppata mahāmanāḥ | apūrayan mahaughena mahīṃ sarvāṃ ca pārthiva ||
Великий духом риши пил те воды, словно молоко, и всё же не насыщался. Затем, о царь, излив могучий поток, он вновь наполнил всю землю. Этот эпизод являет необычайную силу тапаса брахмана-аскета и нравственную мысль о том, что огромная мощь, ведомая самообузданием и целью, способна и отнять, и вернуть миру его ресурсы.
