ity ete dvādaśādityāḥ kāśyapeyā iti śrutiḥ |

Translation

Бхишма сказал: «Таковы двенадцать Адитьев; шрути (śruti, откровенная традиция) возвещает, что они — сыновья Кашьяпы». В этом наставлении солнечные божества помещаются в священную родословную, и тем подчеркивается: космический порядок держится на признанных божественных линиях и на авторитетном откровении.
