अमानी मानदो मान्यो लोकस्वामी त्रिलोकधृक्‌ । सुमेधा मेधजो धन्य: सत्यमेधा धराधर:

Transliteration

amānī mānado mānyo lokasvāmī trilokadhṛk | sumedhā medhajo dhanyaḥ satyamedhā dharādharaḥ ||

Translation

Бхишма сказал: «Он не ищет почестей для себя, но дарует почет другим; Он достоин поклонения. Он — Владыка миров, держащий три мира. Наделенный превосходным разумом, являющийся в жертвоприношении, вечно благословенный и достойный благодарности, обладающий истинным и благородным пониманием, Он поддерживает землю — так воспевается Высший этими эпитетами».
