विस्तार: स्थावरस्थाणु: प्रमाणं बीजमव्ययम् । अर्थोडनर्थो महाकोशो महाभोगो महाधन:
vistāraḥ sthāvarasthāṇuḥ pramāṇaṃ bījam avyayam | artho 'nartho mahākośo mahābhogo mahādhanaḥ ||
Бхишма сказал: Он — всепроникающая ширь, неколебимая опора всего неподвижного и устойчивого; Он — само мерило знания и нетленный семенной первопричинный источник мира. Он — искомое благо (ибо есть образ блаженства), и вместе с тем «не нуждающийся ни в чём» (ибо совершенен и самодостаточен).
