विहायसगतिर्ज्योति: सुरुचि तभुग्‌ विभु: । रविर्विरोचन: सूर्य: सविता रविलोचन:

Transliteration

vihāyasagatir jyotiḥ suruciḥ hutabhuk vibhuḥ | ravir virocanaḥ sūryaḥ savitā ravilocanaḥ ||

Translation

Бхишма сказал: Он — тот, чьё движение проходит по небу; самосветящийся Свет, прекрасного сияния; Пожиратель возлияний (как Огонь), Всепроникающий. Он — Рави, Солнце, вбирающее соки-эссенции; Вирочана, распространяющий свет многими способами; Сурья, являющий блеск; Савитар, космический побудитель и родоначальник; и Тот, чьи очи — Солнце.
