Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament (भीष्मस्य योगयुक्त्या देहत्यागः, पितृमेधः, गङ्गाविलापः)
जयो योगी युगान्ताभ: सव्यसाची रणाग्रग: । तेजसा हतवान् सर्व सुयोधनबलं नूप
bhīṣma uvāca | jayo yogī yugāntābhaḥ savyasācī raṇāgragaḥ | tejasā hatavān sarvaṃ suyodhanabalaṃ nṛpa |
Бхишма сказал: «Арджуна победоносен — наделён йогическим могуществом, пылает, как огонь в конце века. Он — Савьясачин, умеющий пускать стрелы и левой рукой, и стоит впереди всех на поле брани. О царь, одной лишь силой своего сияния и доблести он истребил всё воинство Суйодханы (Дурьодханы).»
