जन्म चैव प्रसूतिश्व॒ यच्चान्यत्‌ कारणं विभो । वयं तु बहुचापल्यादशक्ता गुह्मधारणे

Transliteration

janma caiva prasūtiś ca yac cānyat kāraṇaṁ vibho | vayaṁ tu bahu-cāpalyād aśaktā guhya-dhāraṇe ||

Translation

Нарада сказал: «О Владыка, ни Твоё рождение в человеческом теле, ни сокрытая причина, стоящая за ним, — да и ничто иное — не может быть утаено от Тебя. Но мы, по природе своей чрезмерно непостоянные, оказались не в силах удержать это глубокое дело сокрытым в себе.»
