भूमिदान-प्रसङ्गः । काश्यपी-पृथिवी तथा उतथ्य-वरुण-संवादः

यावच्च जायते मर्त्यस्तावच्छूरो भविष्यति । वह अपने सारे पापोंको धो डालता है और परलोकमें आधिपत्य प्राप्त करता है। फिर जब वह मनुष्ययोनिमें जन्म लेता है, तब शूरवीर होता है
yāvac ca jāyate martyas tāvac chūro bhaviṣyati |
Сканда возвещает: «Пока человек продолжает рождаться смертным, он будет вновь и вновь рождаться с духом героя. Очистительным плодом своего поведения он смывает накопленные грехи, обретает владычество в ином мире; а когда возвращается к человеческому рождению, снова наделяется доблестью и героическим нравом.»
