Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | salilasya aghaṃ jaliṃ pūrṇam akṣatāś ca ghṛtottarāḥ | somasya uttiṣṭhamānasya taj jalaṃ cākṣatāṃś ca tān |

Translation

Бхишма сказал: Когда восходит Луна, если человек, обратившись лицом к Луне, поднесёт ей полную пригоршню воды (анджали) вместе с гхи и акшатой (целыми зёрнами), то такое подношение считается исполнением долга Агнихотры. Этим деянием три священных огня — такие как Гархьяпатья (Gārhapatya) и прочие — признаются должным образом насыщенными жертвенными возлияниями.
