रहस्यमद्भुतं चापि पृष्टा: सम गगनेचर । एतदेव प्रशंसन्ति देवाश्न मुन॒यस्तथा
rahasyam adbhutaṃ cāpi pṛṣṭāḥ sma gagane-cara | etad eva praśaṃsanti devāś ca munayas tathā ||
Небесный вестник сказал: «О странствующий по небу, нас и впрямь спросили о деле дивном и сокровенном. Само это учение восхваляют и боги, и мудрецы». В контексте стих представляет вопрос как глубокую тайну дхармы, утверждённую высшими авторитетами, и тем побуждает к благоговению перед предписанными обрядами предков и к этическому долгу чтить пращуров.
