Transliteration

atra yas tv antimaḥ piṇḍo gacchate jātavedasam

Translation

Здесь последний погребальный дар — пинда (piṇḍa) — препровождается к Джатаведасу, то есть к Агни, огню, несущему приношения; тем знаменуется завершение последнего обряда, которым усопший вверяется священному порядку, а живые исполняют свою дхарму перед мёртвыми.
