Duḥṣantasya Vana-praveśaḥ
King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
संचिन्त्यैवं तदा राजा विचार्य च पुन: पुनः । अमोघत्वं च विज्ञाय रेतसो राजसत्तम:,उन्होंने विचार किया, “मेरा यह स्खलित वीर्य व्यर्थ न हो, साथ ही मेरी पत्नी गिरिकाका ऋतुकाल भी व्यर्थ न जाय” इस प्रकार बारम्बार विचारकर राजाओंमें श्रेष्ठ वसुने उस वीर्यको अमोघ बनानेका ही निश्चय किया
sañcintyāivaṃ tadā rājā vicārya ca punaḥ punaḥ | amoghatvaṃ ca vijñāya retaso rājasattamaḥ ||
Вайшампаяна сказал: так размышляя, царь вновь и вновь взвешивал решение. Поняв, что излившееся семя не обязано быть тщетным, лучший из царей постановил сделать его действенным — дабы не пропали ни излитая сила, ни плодный срок царицы Гирики.
