समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः

इसके बाद है अत्यन्त भयानक एवं दारुण मौसलपर्व। तत्पश्चात् महाप्रस्थानपर्व और स्वर्गारोहण-पर्व आते हैं
tataḥ paraṃ atyanta-bhayānakaṃ ca dāruṇaṃ ca mausala-parva bhavati | tataḥ paścāt mahāprasthāna-parva svargārohaṇa-parva ca āyātaḥ |
Затем приходит «Маусала-парва», чрезвычайно страшная и мрачная, повествующая о катастрофическом конце, вызванном взаимным истреблением. После нее следуют «Махапрастхана-парва», описывающая великий последний путь Пандавов, и «Сваргарохана-парва», рассказывающая об их восхождении на небеса.
