У великой священной реки обретают долголетие — вплоть до двух лакхов. Есть и подношения: ростки травы дурва (dūrvā), кунжут, Вани (речь/Сарасвати), гудучи (guḍūcī) и гхутика (ghuṭikā) — каждое способствует благому, когда посвящается с шива-бхакти.
