व्यपोहनस्तवनिरूपण-प्रसङ्गे नक्तभोजन-शिवव्रतविधिः (वार्षिक-प्रतिमास-क्रमः)

द्वयोर् मासस्य पञ्चम्योर् द्वयोः प्रतिपदोर्नरः क्षीरधाराव्रतं कुर्यात् सो ऽश्वमेधफलं लभेत्

Transliteration

dvayor māsasya pañcamyor dvayoḥ pratipadornaraḥ kṣīradhārāvrataṃ kuryāt so 'śvamedhaphalaṃ labhet

Translation

В два пятых лунных дня (Панчами) двух месяцев, а также в два первых дня (Пратипада), следует совершать обет «Кшира-дхара» — непрерывно возливать молоко на Шива-лингам. Тем самым обретается плод жертвоприношения Ашвамедха.
