Adhyaya 72 — Puradāha: Rudra’s Cosmic Chariot, Pāśupata-Vrata, and Brahmā’s Shiva-Stuti

पशुत्वादिति सत्यं च प्रतिज्ञातं समाहिताः ये चाप्यन्ये चरिष्यन्ति व्रतं पाशुपतं मम

paśutvāditi satyaṃ ca pratijñātaṃ samāhitāḥ ye cāpyanye cariṣyanti vrataṃ pāśupataṃ mama

«Истинно то, что существа пребывают в пашутве — состоянии пашу, связанной души». С собранным умом они дали этот обет; и всякий иной, кто будет соблюдать мой обряд Пашупата (Pāśupata-врата), также войдёт в дисциплину, ведущую пашу к Пати, Владыке.
