प्राणा वै जगतामापो भूतानि भुवनानि च बहुनात्र किमुक्तेन चराचरमिदं जगत्

Transliteration

prāṇā vai jagatāmāpo bhūtāni bhuvanāni ca bahunātra kimuktena carācaramidaṃ jagat

Translation

Воистину, прана (дыхание жизни) — опора миров: вод, существ и всех областей бытия. Что ещё говорить? Вся эта вселенная, движущаяся и неподвижная, держится праной; и в конечном счёте зависит от Пати — Господа Шивы, внутреннего владыки жизни.
