Shloka 3

देवदारुवनौकसां प्रति ब्रह्मोपदेशः—लिङ्गलक्षण-प्रतिष्ठा-विधिः, शिवमायारूपदर्शनं, स्तुतिः

पितामह उवाच एष देवो महादेवो विज्ञेयस्तु महेश्वरः न तस्मात्परमं किंचित् पदं समधिगम्यते

pitāmaha uvāca eṣa devo mahādevo vijñeyastu maheśvaraḥ na tasmātparamaṃ kiṃcit padaṃ samadhigamyate

Питамаха (Брахма) сказал: «Его одного следует познать как Бога — Махадеву, Махешвару, Великого Владыку. Выше Него не достигается никакое более высокое состояние, цель или обитель».
