न क्रुध्यन्ति न हृष्यन्ति जितात्मानस्तु ते स्मृताः सामान्येषु च द्रव्येषु तथा वैशेषिकेषु च
na krudhyanti na hṛṣyanti jitātmānastu te smṛtāḥ sāmānyeṣu ca dravyeṣu tathā vaiśeṣikeṣu ca
Как jitātmā — владеющих собой — помнят тех, кто не впадает ни в гнев, ни в восторженность, оставаясь ровными к имуществу обычному и к тому, что особое и исключительное.

It teaches that true Linga-puja is strengthened by inner steadiness: the worshipper should remain free from anger and excitement, treating ordinary and prized objects with the same detachment—this purifies the pashu (soul) for Shiva’s grace.
By pointing to equanimity beyond emotional extremes, it reflects Shiva as Pati—the unwavering, impartial consciousness—toward whom the sādhaka aligns by cultivating samatva.
