О скакун, будь быстр, как ветер, о добытчик приза; будучи впряжён, иди по побуждению Индры, стремительный, как мысль, при выступлении. Пусть всеведущие Маруты впрягут тебя; и пусть Твашṭṛ вложит в твои стопы быстроту.

ज॒वस्ते॑ अर्व॒न् निहि॑तो॒ गुहा॒ यः श्ये॒ने वात॑ उ॒त योऽच॑र॒त् परी॑त्तः । तेन॒ त्वं वा॑जि॒न् बल॑वा॒न् बले॑ना॒जिं ज॑य॒ सम॑ने पारयि॒ष्णुः
Твоя стремительность, о конь, сокрыта в тайнике — та стремительность, что в соколе, и та, что ветер, кружась, приводит в движение. Ею ты, о скакун, силён силою: выиграй бег в схватке, доводящий до конца.

त॒नूष्टे॑ वाजिन् त॒न्वं॑१ नय॑न्ती वा॒मम॒स्मभ्यं॒ धाव॑तु॒ शर्म॒ तुभ्य॑म्। अह्रु॑तो म॒हो ध॒रुणा॑य दे॒वो दि॒वीऽव ज्योतिः॒ स्वमा मि॑मीयात्
Твоё тело, о скакун, — твоё тело, что несёт тебя вперёд, — пусть мчится, добывая нам благо и тебе самому — защиту. Невредимым, ради великой славы и крепкой опоры, пусть бог с неба отмерит тебе свой собственный свет.
