शोणितानुसिक्तं भग्नभिन्नगात्रं काष्ठैरश्मभिर्वा हतं विद्यात् ॥ कZ_०४.७.०६ ॥
Transliteration
śoṇitānusiktaṃ bhagnabhinnagātraṃ kāṣṭhair aśmabhir vā hataṃ vidyāt
Translation
One should identify death by beating when the body is drenched in blood and the limbs are broken or split—(as if) struck with sticks or stones.
