Raṇadīkṣā (War-Consecration) — Agni Purāṇa Adhyāya 235

छत्रादिराजलिङ्गानि शस्त्राणि निशि वै गणान् प्रातर्नृसिंहकं पूज्य वाहनाद्यमशेषतः

chatrādirājaliṅgāni śastrāṇi niśi vai gaṇān prātarnṛsiṃhakaṃ pūjya vāhanādyamaśeṣataḥ

Ночью следует почитать царские знаки власти, начиная с зонта, а также оружие; воистину следует почитать и свиты-гаṇы (gaṇa). Утром же, совершив поклонение Нарасимхе (Narasiṃha), надлежит без упущения почтить всё, начиная с ездовых средств (vāhana) и прочего.
