Mahabharata 7.175.3

तावन्योन्यं शरै: संख्ये संछाद्य सुमहारथै: । पुनः पूर्णायतोत्सूष्टविंव्यघाते परस्परम्‌

The two mighty chariot-warriors covered one another in the fight with volleys of arrows; then again, drawing their bows to the full, they struck and counterstruck each other with the shafts they loosed.
