उवाच मधुरं वाक्यं धर्मकामां वसुन्धराम् ॥ श्रीवराह उवाच ॥ शृणु सुन्दरि तत्त्वेन यन्मां त्वं परिपृच्छसि

uvāca madhuraṃ vākyaṃ dharma-kāmāṃ vasundharām || śrī-varāha uvāca || śṛṇu sundari tattvena yan māṃ tvaṃ paripṛcchasi

Ele dirigiu palavras doces a Vasundharā, desejosa de dharma. Śrī Varāha disse: «Ouve, ó bela, em verdade, aquilo que me perguntas».
